I'll be unavailable for one of two days at the start of next week, so you're getting the Twice Is Nice a bit earlier this month. I've drawn the main character from the classic Franco-Belgian comic "Aria" before, but with the series now getting a reprint, it felt like a good occasion to do another. I specifically wanted to do one based on the third issue, "The Seventh Gate", because that is where, after two ho-hum books, the series really found its footing.It also have me an excuse to draw Aria with her earlier looks, after the artstyle and her appearance would shift in a new direction after that.
