制作に関する後日談！今回は背景に一番力を入れたので背景について語ります。
A behind-the-scenes look at the production! I put the most effort into the background this time, so I’d like to talk about that.
完成後は全体の過程を出しても良いかなと思い公開です。
出さない理由はラフをAI使用して完成させ、盗作する事件を見たので予防策です。
最初の大ラフはこんな感じでした。夏の３人のつもりではなかったので複数いましたが、これはたいき君にしたいな～となり夏の３人に決定。画面はキャラアップ寄りで電信柱の上には街灯を付けていました。
I decided to share this now that it's finished, thinking it might be nice to show the overall process.
The reason I hadn't shared it earlier was a precautionary measure; I had seen incidents where rough sketches were used with AI to create finished works, effectively amounting to plagiarism.
The initial rough sketch looked like this. I hadn't originally intended to feature the "Summer Trio" so there were multiple figures at first, but then I decided, "I want this one to be Taiki," leading to the choice of the Summer Trio. The composition was a close-up on the characters, and I had included a streetlamp atop the utility pole.
ここでパースを取りました。
カメラアングルがかなり上からの俯瞰になったので、この場合一番正しくしないといけないパースは地から天までの高さ。物体の高さは薄っすら見えているラインに沿って制作します。もちろん雨もこのパースに沿って描きます。横のパースは今回色んな物体が様々な方向を向いているので、パースは取らずに感覚で描きました。地形や階段を不規則な形にしたのでこの辺はかなり楽でした。
ここで光源も電信柱側から、あかる君の後ろ側に変更。こっちの方が水溜まりの反射が綺麗に見えるのが理由。下に少し見えるのは傘でもう一人入れるか入れないかずっと迷ってました。ここからひたすら描き込んでいきます。
I took a perspective here.
The camera angle was a very high bird's eye view, so the perspective that needed to be correct in this case was the height from the ground to the sky. The height of the object is created along the faintly visible line. Of course, the rain will also be drawn along this perspective. For the horizontal perspective, various objects were facing in various directions this time, so I drew it by feeling without taking a perspective. This part was pretty easy because I made the terrain and stairs irregular.
Here, the light source was also changed from the telephone pole side to the back side of Akaru. The reason is that the reflection from the puddle looks better that way. The one you can see below is an orange umbrella, and I was wondering whether or not to bring in another person. I'll just start drawing from here.

Here is the finished background, complete with perspective lines, followed by a layer containing only the rain and water droplets.
右下の大きい雨粒は最初のラフのままぼかしたんですが、今見ると顔に見えちゃってしっかり描いとけば良かったと後悔してますｗ 今後は余裕があれば今回のような「制作後日談」を出そうかと思っています。このイラストの配布は29日16時までなのでお忘れなく☔
I added the hydrangeas and the notice board—ideas that came to me along the way—and it was finished! I left the large raindrop in the bottom right as it was in the initial rough sketch, just adding a blur effect; looking at it now, though, it kind of looks like a face, so I regret not drawing it properly. lol
