I’m very sorry for the late update again.
I’d like to share with you what has been happening.
While working on finishing Mirror Collection vol.11, the amount I needed to draw fell far behind schedule. Originally, I was planning to wrap it up at 60 pages by finishing the final part in just 4 pages.
The original plot was a “dream ending” — Sayoko and Nagisa treat everything that happened in the alley as if it were just a dream caused by the two witches, and simply leave it at “maybe someday again”.
However… after finishing the second rough draft and moving into linework, I suddenly felt:
“This doesn’t feel like Mirror Collection at all…”
So I scrapped the 3 pages I had drawn, redrew 9 new ones, and completed the ending with 10 pages.
(This was the original ending page.)
For Mirror Collection, I really feel it’s important that the heroine ends by properly facing herself.
Another reason for the delay is my older sister’s wedding, which I mentioned before.
Her wedding is on November 8th — it’s just around the corner now.
I had no idea how busy it could be even for the family side when you’re not the one getting married…!
There were greetings with the groom’s family, dinners, and spending precious time together before she moves out of the house.
Because of all this, I’m truly sorry that the update got delayed again.
Right now, I need to upload the pages corresponding to September and October for vol.12, plus this month’s uploads and the request pages.
Realistically, it won’t be possible to upload all four updates for September and October separately — so I will be combining the four updates into two, and making each upload 6 pages instead of 4.
After the wedding, I should be able to finish up, so I’m expecting to upload around the 15th.
This is the last major family event of the year, so I believe I’ll be able to update a lot throughout November.
I truly enjoy drawing this work, and I love it deeply.
But my family is incredibly important to me as well — and this time, I simply couldn’t cut that time away.
Thank you so much for waiting just a little longer.
And thank you always for your support!
