While many people would like to take responsibility for being the one to break Theon Greyjoy and come up with wild tales of how they did it. In reality, he was driven mad by a simple feather duster used by monks in a monastery on his bare groin. Monks there practice daily meditation and use the act of tickling a man's groin for hours at a time as a way to accomplish tranquility. Poor Theon would have to go through 4 hour shifts of monks who would come and go, passing off the duster to the next monk to begin another meditation session. Theon was surprised to find each passing moment of this made him more and more sensitive until he was driven completely mad by the silent tickling monks.
