DESCRIPTION
With Melody, I wanted to try something a little different. She’s a gentle demoness, exercising a soft, subtle domination over her needy pets. At the same time, I wanted to hint at her darker, twisted side — the part that explains why she’s the dominant force in the church, rather than Rhyme.
Page 19 really captures that duality, and it’s probably my favorite scene in the comic. Plus… she looks incredible in latex.
メロディーに関しては、少し違った表現を試してみたかったんです。彼女は優しい悪魔のような女性で、世話好きなペットたちに優しく、さりげなく支配的な態度を見せています。同時に、彼女の陰鬱で歪んだ一面もほのめかしたいと思いました。それが、ライムではなく彼女が教会で支配的な立場にある理由です。
19ページはその二面性を的確に捉えていて、おそらくこのコミックの中で一番好きなシーンです。それに…ラテックスを着けた彼女は最高にカッコいいんです。
