Heya people!
Combat rework:
I've just finished updating the last "regular" battle (mister Blue) with the new base battle code and I'm extremely pleased to say it all works as it should! All that remains to do is to balance everything, making some adjustments to each enemy to make them more 'distinct.' (The desert bandit for example will have attacks that have a high base chance to hit, but do little damage, whilst the rubber golem attacks are easier to evade, but also do more damage!) When that's done I'll (finally) add in the upgrade system, do some more bugfixing, make some small changes the boss battle according to the feedback I've been given, and then I'll make a new patch so you guys can have a look at the combat rework yourselves! :) Tier III, you can expect this patch at the end of this weekend, although I expect it to drop sooner then that.
One of the new "regular" attacks of the maidsuit; don't fall for it Kathleen! :0
Example of one of the regular attacks of the desert bandit; with Kathleen recoiling if the attack hits (or not if the attack misses)!
Regarding the poll about a new comic:
The poll results are in, cue the drum rolls...
... Talk about an even split. :')
So ~27.5% of you want to see me do a new comic, ~27.5% want me to focus all my attention on the game and ~45% just want to see shiny rubbery content no matter what form it's in (hear hear). In any case, since it's such an even split I'll let my vote be the one to break the stalemate, and I say: I'm gonna do another comic. :3
Now before you guys who've voted 'No!' burn this entire place down hear me out: The priestess submit events take priority no matter what, and since you are supporting my butt it's only fair that you guys get some "say" in how the comic will pan out. So this is how we'll do it: During the production of the new comic supporters get to vote on how the story unfolds. People on Tier I; your vote counts for 1, people on Tier II you vote counts for 2 and people on Tier III your vote counts for 3. This way everybody gets a say, although the people on top of the pyramid have more "sway" then those at the bottom. That seems fair right? ;)
In any case; the first poll will go up in the coming 15 minutes, and will decide how our protagonist (victim) will look, and what her reason is for being in 'ES INDUSTRIES.'
That's all for this post, be sure to make your voice heard in the polls!
