Q1 2023 plans!
Just one day short before the end of the month, so technically we’re already one-third through this quarter haha! The newest release of No escape (V0.25.1) has been released to Tier III last Friday, and reception of the update was pretty positive! Granted there’s always something to improve of course, but nonetheless it’s nice to see people enjoying the last bit of rubbery kink inside Cybercity (or at least the last for now). ;3
With V0.25.1 the Cybercity VR-world is considered finished, and as such the game will move onto the next world: Thornvine estate! This will also be the game’s first “in-between” world: A smaller, singular location with only a few fail-states, enemies and NPCs.
It will not have a large hub-area with places to work at, nor have a world “side-quest” like with Rose or Lysi, or a “main boss” like Goddess or S.O.P.H.I.A. Instead it will focus largely on one big “quest”/event-chain, which splits into two (significantly) separate paths to follow and overcome (or not lol). And as such it will be a much more “focused” experience than in the “big” VR-worlds, which feels appropriate since again: It’s meant to be a “one-shot” type of thing. ;3
I plan to stay in this place for two updates MAX, and as such will be tackling the first of the two paths in the coming update: the “stealth”/combat path. As such I’ll strive for V0.26.1 to contain the following:
- 2 different “regular” enemies/battles, which will all link into-
- 1 major playable fail-state.
- 1 Story scene aboard the prisonship to advance the plot.
- 1 Mini-boss.
- 1 “regular” fail-state for the above mini-boss.
- And most of the Thornvine estate maps.
It’s a big list this time around, but I’m adamant that the above should be doable in an acceptable time-frame. ^^
