早いもので、2月まとめ記事になります。
閏月とは言え本当に早いですね……怖……
今月はリクエストイラストと描きたかったイラストのバランスが良かったんじゃないでしょうか。
本当は落書き的なイラストも含めてもっと描きたいのですが、まだまだ技術向上に伴う作業効率化が必要ですね。精進しましょう。
それでは内容に移ります。

少し前にサービス開始したSNS漫画アプリ「Wick」のイベント「もぐもぐレース」に参加した時のイラストです。
沢山のスイーツに囲まれた女の子を描こうと思い、スイーツと言えばケーキ、ケーキと言えばショートケーキ、キングオブスイーツということでショートケーキの女王です。
このイラストで、今より技術がなかった頃に身に付いた「瞳の情報は少ない方がシンプルで良い」という思い込みが無事破壊されました。
以前は瞳に情報を詰め込むと全く満足いく結果にならなかったんですが、久しぶりにやってみると意外といい感じに描けました。まだまだ改善の余地はありますけどね！
ちなみに「もぐもぐレース」について説明をしますと
「食べ物のイラストを投稿すると抽選でWickの広告にイラストが使用され、食べ物の数が多いほど抽選確率が上がる」というイベントなのですが、この広告が秋葉原の大型街頭ビジョンで放映されるそうでWick内では結構賑わってました。
で、このイラスト、今のところ最終候補として選出されてます。
秋葉原の街頭ビジョンにチラっと映るかも。やったね。
今年のバレンタインイラストです。R-18が含まれるので注意。
バレンタインのチョコレートの風習は日本独自のものですね。
日本は外来のイベントを独自の形で取り込むので面白いです。
描く前から角の生えた女の子を描こうと思っていまして、チョコレートの原料であるカカオ豆の日本が輸入する8割はガーナ産、ガーナでは山羊が割と日常的に見られるそうです。
山羊と言えば「メンデスのバフォメット」のイメージがあり色々調べてたらマッチしそうだったので今回モチーフに選びました。
そのせいでR-18差分に男性器が生えました。特に反省はしてないです。
立ち絵素材販売シリーズ第2弾、メイド女子です。500円。
前回に引き続き表情差分がいっぱい入ってます。今回は髪色差分もあり。
デジタル商品は出品しておいて損はないのでまた余裕があれば作りたいですね。
それと単純にBOOTHを充実させるの楽しい。
以下リクエスト依頼になります。
ギアちゃんと依頼者さんのOCの3人イラストです。
楽しい雰囲気を出したかったのでアップで、手前に飛んでいる鳥か飛行機か何かを指指している感じですね。
年始のSkeb半額キャンペーンで頂いたリクエストなので1月中に納品したかったのですが、そういう理由で焦って描くのは良くないので2月に入ってからになりました。

こちらも依頼者さんのOCです。サキュバスの暗殺者ですね。
都市の屋上かどこかで標的を追い詰めているところでしょうか。
尻尾のハートを顔の横に配置したのがお気に入りです。
図らずともバレンタインと2連続で悪魔的な女の子を描くことになりましたがかわいいのでいいでしょう。角良いよね。
こちらの依頼者さんはストライクウィッチーズ関連のリクエストを頂くことが多いのですが、今回はOCがユニットで飛んでいる場面のリクエストでした。
依頼者さんのXプロフィールに国と地域が書いてあったのでそこにちなんだ背景を描いたりしました。岩場の影色とか透けて見える岩とか、結構いい感じに描けたかなと思います。
ユニットも少し関連してブリタニアのスピットファイア。
耳と尻尾は正義。再確認。
以上になります！
並べると実感しますがもう一枚くらいは描きたかったですね。
時間的な無駄をなくしたい。理由なくSNS眺める時間とかは無駄オブ無駄です。
ちなみに今はうちの子のデザイン少し弄ってます。立ち絵も新しくします。
まだまだ途中ですがこんな感じ
ベースはほぼ変えずに、細かい部分と色を弄ってます。
ヘアピンなんかは多分採用しないですね。炭バサミ要素を入れたいで無理やり付けた感ある。
余談ですが最近ちょっとずつLive2Dをかじってます。新しいことしたいよね。

Time flies, and now I'm back to summarizing February.
It really does fly...scary...
I think this month I had a good balance between commissioned illustrations and illustrations I wanted to draw.
I'd actually like to draw more, including doodle-like illustrations, but I still need to improve my work efficiency as my skills improve. Let's keep working hard.
Now, on to the content.

This is an illustration I drew when I participated in the "Mogu Mogu Race" event for the recently launched social media and manga app "Wick."
I wanted to draw a girl surrounded by lots of sweets, and sweets mean cake, and cake means shortcake, so I chose the queen of shortcakes.
This illustration shattered a preconceived notion I had when I wasn't very skilled: "The less information in the eyes, the simpler the better."
In the past, I'd cram too much information into the eyes and never got satisfied with the results, but when I tried again after a while, I was able to draw them surprisingly well. There's still room for improvement, though!
By the way, to explain what the "Mogu Mogu Race" is,
"If you submit an illustration of food, you'll be entered into a lottery to have your illustration used in a Wick advertisement. The more food you include, the higher your chances of winning." Apparently, this advertisement will be broadcast on Akihabara's large screen, so there's been quite a buzz at Wick.
So, this illustration has been selected as a finalist so far.
You might even get a glimpse of it on Akihabara's large screen.

This is this year's Valentine's Day illustration. Please note that it contains R-18 content.
The custom of giving chocolate on Valentine's Day is unique to Japan.
It's interesting how Japan adopts foreign events in its own unique way.
I had been thinking about drawing a girl with horns since before I started drawing it, and 80% of the cocoa beans Japan imports, the raw material for chocolate, come from Ghana, where goats are apparently a fairly common sight.
Speaking of goats, I think of "Mendes' Baphomet," and after doing some research I thought they would fit, so I chose them as the motif this time.
As a result, the R-18 variant has male genitalia. I don't particularly regret it.

Continuing from the last time, there are lots of different facial expressions included. This time, there are also different hair colors.
There's no harm in selling downloadable products, so if I have the time, I'd like to make more.
Plus, it's simply fun to enrich BOOTH.

This is an illustration of Gear-chan and three of the client's OCs.
I wanted to create a fun atmosphere so I drew it up close, with the character pointing at a bird or plane or something flying in the foreground.
This request was received during the Skeb half-price campaign, so I wanted to deliver it in January, but I didn't want to rush a drawing for reasons like that, so I ended up finishing it in February.

This is also a client's OC. A succubus assassin.
She's probably cornering a target on a city rooftop or somewhere.
I like how I placed the heart on the tail next to the face.
I ended up drawing two demonic girls in a row, after Valentine's Day, but she's cute so I think it's fine. Horns are nice, aren't they?

This client often makes requests related to Strike Witches, but this time they wanted a scene where their OC is flying in a Striker Unit.
The client's X Profile listed their country and region, so I drew a background related to that. The unit is also somewhat related, a Britannian Spitfire.
That's all!
Looking at them lined up, I realize I wanted to draw at least one more.
I want to eliminate wasting time. Spending time browsing social media for no reason is the ultimate waste of time.
By the way, I'm currently tinkering with my character's design a bit. I'm also making new character images.
It's still a work in progress, but it looks something like this.

I'm leaving the base mostly unchanged, and tinkering with the finer details and colors.
I probably won't use hairpins. I feel like I forced them in because I wanted to add the charcoal scissors element.
As an aside, I've been dabbling in Live2D a little bit lately. I want to try something new.
So, let's keep working hard in March!
