intent vs what actually happened

intent: get 1 page done today

what happened: realizing I don't understand basic program functions and needed to step down to beginners tutorials on how to use a program till I ran nearly out of time

so I did learn a lot today instead. tommorow then. maybe still today if i crunch it in there but we shall see.
