I was organizing some paperwork when an orphaned girl—known among the locals as the “stray cat”—came in. She must have been looking for something to eat.
Normally, I’d give her a snack and send her on her way, but that day, there were three young workers taking a break in the office.
“Perfect. Let’s use her to take a breather.”
The stray cat was picked up by the young workers and taken to the nap room on the second floor...
