v3.2.0 brings back our old user interface as an option for the new Videochat Extension, utilizing cutting-edge browser technologies for your convenience.
It was not easy, but a lot of our patrons asked for it, so we've found a way to make it work, and you can use it on any other website for free!
It has only been a month since we had to disable our old extension, but we have already made significant progress—just take a look at this...
Can you spot the difference?
We have removed every obsolete feature and taught our old universal Omegle-like codebase to recognize your browser as just another supported chat platform.
It is still only a visual layer above the backbone of our new extension, so there are no auto-skipping features or similar functionalities—please forget about those, we can't bring them back without risking your safety.
Additionally, we have made it resizable and significantly improved the map feature, allowing you to select from multiple map providers and choose your preferred style!

What's new in Videochat Extension?
Legacy Interface (2021-2024)
Our legacy user interface is making a comeback using one of the newest browser features: document picture-in-picture!
Please note that this requires a modern browser such as Brave, Chrome, or Edge, as these capabilities are not yet available in Opera / Opera GX.
It creates a window that remains above other windows, allowing you to place it exactly where it was before, so you won't notice any significant differences!
We also made it resizable, allowing you to adjust it however you like!
The IP, Map, Stats, Settings, and About tabs are functioning as expected!!!
To start the new (old) interface:
Click 'Legacy Interface (2021-2024)' in the options list.
Click 'Launch Project Phoenix.'
interface can only launch after user clicks something in a new tab, so this second step in necessary.
This will create a window that you can resize and move around by dragging from the top right corner.
Please note that this is still a very early release, and there are already known bugs out there.
Some patron-only features from higher tiers are still missing, and we have not tested our OBS integration, but it is already functioning well enough for you to start using it!
Note: The data from Stats and Bans has been migrated, but the ban feature is useless at the moment and some stats no longer possible to count (such as genders).
The reason is that auto-skipping is no longer possible for us to implement without putting the user at risk.
