Did Oba get over too fast according to the creative brain trust? Is that why he refused his title shot?
That isn't what happened. They wanted Oba Femi to be over fast. That part was by design. The design of the rest of it was just really dumb and made no sense. I'm sure they'll do something down the line and give him a title and feed the word some "trust the process" "we always had a plan" bullshit. But it didn't make any real sense there.
Dave reported that "There have been minor issues regarding CM Punk which were traced back as starting with the loss of his World title at WrestleMania." Can you speak on those?
He's referring to the same rumors we had reported on a number of weeks ago that just kind of got blurted out. Nobody on the creative team, or any talent -- even the ones that dislike CM Punk -- have confirmed the issues. Maybe there were, but they just aren't widely known if that's the case. Usually issues with him come to light pretty quickly. Him being off this long was definitely not the plan, though.
Is Bruce Prichard's podcast now behind the pay wall?
No, Bruce has had some time off WWE and the podcast. He took some time off previously, and JBL effectively filled in for him, and that's happening right now as well. I haven't spoke to Conrad about it, but I think we haven't seen the end of Bruce Prichard podcasting.
