During the July 8th episode of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, a vignette aired to announce that Jack Perry re-signed with All Elite Wrestling.WrestleVotes on Fightful Select learned that on the WWE front, there were little to no discussions about the possibility of pursuing Perry in the case that he entered free agency. Sources indicate that there was never much of an appetite to bring Perry into the company. The prevailing feeling was that he didn't fit in WWE's current landscape and was never viewed as a realistic target.It was in 2023 that Perry and the new Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk got into a physical altercation backstage at AEW All In London. The footage was shown live on Dynamite.
