Gabe Kidd won the IWGP Global Title earlier this week. He was actually planned to win the title months ago before his injury.
The MJF/Kenny Omega table bump was an homage to the Mankind table bump from when Undertaker hit him with stairs.
Jack Perry's contract signing was legitimate, and we're told it was the actual contract being signed on the AEW segment. He had not re-signed prior to that.
We're told that a number of AEW wrestlers had their visa issues rectified. Mark Davis and Komander are among them.
We're told the majority of the new TNA contracts being signed are still shorter-term contracts.
Leah Night, Janai Kai and Emily Jay were among the extras at AEW in Roanoke. We're told there were a number more there as well.
AEW sources we spoke to were very happy with the Dynamite viewership and the MJF vs. Kenny Omega match in general.
CM Punk is slated to appear on the Smackdown brand much more moving forward, as indicated this week.
There was a talking point that AEW did their title change on TV to "steal thunder" from CM Punk's title win. It was reiterated repeatedly this wasn't the case. Kenny Omega has been planned to win the world title from MJF for months. The alternative was Omega not challenging for the world title again, which was not a move that AEW was looking to execute. The plan for the match on AEW TV was set before the Sami Zayn title win even happened.
Baron Corbin's WWE return has planned since at least May. He gave notice to MLW back then. That's why they replaced him with Josh Bishop.
