How much did Tony Khan contribute to the characters of Timeless Toni Storm and this new Lio Rush?

Heavily with Toni Storm. I think Lio Rush was more of Lio's idea. Tony Khan has spoken openly that the movie All About Eve was a huge inspiration for the Timeless Toni Storm character and the story arc with Mariah May that ended up being one of the best in modern wrestling history. Tony very important to that.

Have you ever had the opportunity to break wrestling news on your Birthday?

We have had at least one piece of exclusive news or content on Fightful Select every day for years, no exceptions, so yes! I can't really remember any that jump off the page, but All In is on my birthday this year, so I'm likely to have some there. There are not real "days off" in that anything can happen. That's not a bad thing, though. If news is exciting enough to cover on a planned day off, that is usually a positive for us!

Is AEW considering an app for MyAEW?

Everything that I've heard is that the long term plan was to have an app. It's still very much in its infancy. I think that eventually, it will be the PPV home of AEW, host a lot of "lost tapes," their podcast archives and eventually new shows, a lot of their gaming content, and a number of libraries. They will want to make sure an app is executed properly before rolling it out because first impressions are important.

Who would you say has booked McIntyre better Vince or triple h

That's a tough one. Vince McMahon fumbled Drew McIntyre for years, to the point that he eventually released Drew. Then he gave him a good push and his first world title. At the very least, Drew has never been treated like a joke under Triple H and has always been factored into some important things and has won some world championships. I'm going to go with Triple H for the sake of him never being totally buried.

Hey Sean. Have a bit of an odd one for you: In your opinion, why do you think a wrestling-based TCG has never really taken off before? The 'E had one, AEW has one(-ish), but neither have become big sellers. Why do you think is that?

Timing. I am not going to pretend to be an expert on trading card games, but I think that you have to have the right formula, the right kind of game, and wrestling probably needs to be hot. These days, probably the right person getting eyes on it and helping make it big is important. I think one will eventually hit. There are also things like All Time Wrestling.
