Sure, Uranus still isn't done, but the Sun is well on its way! I think I went into making the Uranus design too..uh, changeably? You guys have had the opportunity to watch it grow and evolve over the time I have work on it. As of now, it's really getting there, but I still have a number of hiccups to muddle through. It's overly complex for the series and weird too. Hopefully, I'll have it done soon as well!
But enough about Uranus. Let's talk about THE SUN.
This design has gone through a number of body alterations already and a couple of head designs. What I'm showing here is the design I've committed to, more of a naga sort of body-type. What you're seeing super low opacity underneath was some pattern play on an older body, that I will be keeping for this one. I'm going to try to paint a golden design that's "pied" with rifts of space. I think the result, along with the nuclear fire going on behind it's crest will really top off this series.
