Hi everyone!
I decided to revisit this long forgotten gem with new and fresh mods appearing lately. I used plenty of mods and reshade to achieve these visuals.

I use NFS 2015 Evolution from the main visual mods but you can use vanilla or other main mods like UNITE or Remastered.

### INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ###

All the other mods were downloaded from nfsmods.xyz and nexusmods. You need Frosty Mod Manager to install these mods.
1. Download Frosty Mod Manager from here: https://frostymodmanager.net/ or github: https://github.com/CadeEvs/FrostyToolsuite/releases
2. Unzip it to a folder an run.
3. Select the game path "Need For Speed".
4. Click on the "Add Mods" button and find the desired mod to add. (.fbmod)
5. After adding a mod press the "Apply Mods" button to apply them.
6. Under "Applied Mods" on the right side you can see your added and applied mods.
7. Press the "Launch" button to launch the modded game.
8. You have to launch the game through Frosty every time if you want to play with mods. Launching the game normally wont load mods.
9. If the game doesn't launch or without mods, try to set "Run as Administrator" on Frosty or move the whole Frosty folder into your NFS game folder.
10. I advise to remove "Run as Admin" from the game exe itself.

### RESHADE SETUP ###

PRESETS
Enhanced_Cinematic: This is the full experience, heavy cinematic effects like DOF, Motion blur, VHS distortion combined with contrast enhancement, sharpening and color correction. Everything is overloaded for a massive punch.
Enhanced_Cinematic_Light: Cinematic DOF, Motion blur and VHS distortion were removed and sharpening decreased. For more subtle but still enchanced visuals.
Im not using RenoDX this time since it messes up my whole image.
1. Download the normal or add-on version of the latest ReShade from here: "https://reshade.me".
2. Install ALL the shaders by clicking twice on the "Check/Uncheck all" button.
3. Do NOT install any add-ons from the setup (if you use add-ons version), finish the install.
4. Copy the .ini presets into your game folder where your NFS16.exe is located.
5. Launch the game and press "Home" to bring up the Reshade interface, you can Skip Tutorial.
6. Choose the preset in the upper bar on the interface then press "Select".
7. I recommend binding a toggle key to quickly turn on/off the preset. You can set this in the Settings tab.
8. If you experience flickering or weird DOF effect, make sure RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED is set to 1 instead of 0. Its under the "Edit global preprocessor definitions" button. (check picture depth_input_reversed_1.png)
9. If something looks wrong or not working, doublecheck the attached pictures how your reshade should look like.
10. In-game TAA distorts some depth-based effects but despite of that I prefer it over FXAA.
11. If you prefer playing with FXAA I advise to turn off LumaSharpen or decrease the amount of it.
MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS SELECT THE LATEST UPDATED PRESET!
