Ultimate Realistic Watch Dogs 2 1.0 Release

Hi guys, this is my reshade preset for Watch Dogs 2!

This preset aims for a natural, less saturated, more realistic look without the need of ray tracing. Check it out.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

If you experience flickering shadows on newer Nvidia cards, use this fix: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3675468408

If you want to use custom FOV, go to Documents\My Games\Watch_Dogs2\WD2_GamerProfile.xml and change the FovScale to lower or higher number. Default is 1.

Here are my in-game settings, I think these are the best AA options for picture clarity and performance. Multisample AA: OFF, Post-Process AA: SMAA T2x

Reshade Install and Setup

Download the add-on version of the latest ReShade from here: "https://reshade.me" The game may crash with older versions.

Install ALL the shaders by clicking twice on the "Check/Uncheck all" button.

Do NOT install any add-ons from the setup, click Next and finish the install.

Copy the contents of the "reshade files" folder into your main folder where your ".exe" is located. (Watch Dogs 2/bin)

Launch the game and press "Home" to bring up the Reshade interface, you can Skip Tutorial.

Choose the Reshade preset in the upper bar on the interface then press Select.

You can turn on and off shaders as you like. If you don't like some effects, just turn it off by clicking on it, or if you want to add some more its your choice. Just be careful with the fps.

By turning on Performance mode in the lower right corner of Reshade you gain a few fps but can't edit shaders.

I recommend binding a toggle key to quickly turn on/off the whole preset. You can set this in the Settings tab.

Under the Addons tab you can adjust the No-HUD mod.

MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS USE THE LATEST UPDATED PRESETS TO AVOID ISSUES!
