Hi Heroes!
Apologies that I have been out of touch for the last week couple of weeks. Work has been chaotic with lots of projects and tight deadlines (I work in the healthcare sector, and the beginning of winter is always the busiest time for us!).
First, I'd like to introduce the final designs for the new characters in Paris' clique. Isobel and Katrina. As voted for in the most recent polls.
These high-society ladies are used to the very best in life. From parties, to fast cars, to billionaires falling at their feet. However the recent Goth takeover of downtown east has left them out in the cold!
What devilish scheme is Paris and her and these Decadent Divas cooking up to reclaim their lost riches? Why are they hanging out in an abandoned warehouse? How does it involve scientists and a giant laser? Find out soon1
Progress Report
I would say that I am now roughly 90% of the way through the renders for this update. Given that it's a main story update, and has a branching path, there are a a couple of hundred new images and counting! (In some ways I'm regretting promising that this fight will lead to a branching path as it's taking SO much more work. However I think the game will be better for it overall :) ). After that I need to work them into the game, which takes nowhere near as long as the rendering itself (thankfully!). I am very much aiming to have it out this side of Xmas, workloads allowing!
Once this update is out, I will be adding in a new Paris focused side quest, which leads directly on from this update and features the above new characters. I will also be going round each enemy and adding new moves in line with the new QTE's developed for the CJ fight.
