Hello again, my dear patrons!
Today I’m going to talk about the crown jewel of the next update: secret positions!
These positions are special animations that you won’t be able to unlock through normal means. So how will you see them? The answer is: it depends! Each secret position has different requirements. Maybe to see one, all you’ll need to do is reply to an email from an excited student. To unlock another, on the other hand, you might have to follow a small chain of events until you reach the final reward.
But don’t worry! They won’t be especially cryptic in any case. Simply paying some attention to emails and students’ comments will be enough to give you a pretty good idea of what you need to do. And if they still prove elusive, one of the trinkets you can buy in the Medal Shop will give you some very useful hints.
These secret positions can be anything. Some of them are simply variations of existing positions, while others are completely new (and wild). But more importantly, reaching them will require going through small stories that will make them much more interesting. You’ll soon see what I mean. ;D
With this feature, we didn’t just want to expand the content of previous levels, but also address the game’s main design weakness: emails. It’s not that they aren’t fun to read, but it’s true that they didn’t really affect gameplay. In the next update, this issue will be partially solved, since many of these positions will at some point require you to react to specific emails. But don’t worry: if you’re not someone who enjoys reading emails, they won’t be necessary to complete the levels either. ;D
That’s about it! The next update will include 4 secret positions spread across the two levels. It may not sound like many, but remember: our goal is to release the version fairly quickly. Besides, there’s still one more surprise we’re keeping under wraps...
