Happy New Year!
In 2023, the year Finding Buddies was launched, I received the first reviews of the game in month 3, with players giving it a fantastic reception. This really excited me—seeing many people enjoying a product I created, a feeling I've always wanted while developing games as a hobby, especially for a game I had envisioned during my intimate moments in adolescence. A product that satisfies me and provides an interactive experience.
Despite the challenges, dedicating a part of my free time to the project, in October, a new chapter was released along with a crowdfunding page. At that moment, I decided that Finding Buddies would be a big project to which I would dedicate myself entirely until its completion.
Now, we're back at the beginning of the year, this time in 2024. Currently finishing Chapter 3 of Finding Buddies. With more dedicated time, three months after the release of Chapter 2, we have developed the biggest chapter until now. With around 20 minutes long, more choices impacting the story and its direction, and more interactive characters.
For this new year, I aspire to leave my current job and dedicate all my time to Finding Buddies. I'm confident it will be a fantastic year for the game. All of this is thanks to all of you who supported the project and encouraged me during challenging times. I'm truly grateful to the community—thank you so much.
Chapter 3 of Finding Buddies will be released at the end of this week for Tier 3 contributors (Teacher) and next week for Tier 2 contributors (Soldier), three days before the public release.
