A few days ago, someone reported to me that a former member here had violated our Patreon rules. They claimed to have received special permission from me to share existing Patreon bases as part of a Halloween event. The account name is “Gore Yeen”, which they consistently use across multiple platforms. I was also informed that their alternate account is “HangryAnkylosaurus.”
To clarify, I have never given anyone special permission to distribute my bases. If anyone wants to access them, they must download directly from my Patreon. So this person has been lying.
After looking into it, I found that some of their accounts are now inaccessible possibly because they blocked me or deactivated them. Please be cautious, if you happen to have any of their art assets or bases, there’s a high chance they were stolen. I’ll be reporting their Patreon account and posting a beware notice in relevant Facebook groups as a follow up.
It’s truly disappointing that their behavior has hurt me and other artists they’ve stolen from :/
P.S. I’ve added a ToS layer to the new bases from now on. If you come across a base without this ToS layer or notice anything suspicious, please report it to me. Once again, thank you so much for always supporting. I truly respect and appreciate everyone who supports legally and those who help report these harmful actions u.u
