So I noticed a sudden influx of people not getting there role and I assume its because Patreon changed the way discord integration works.
You must add your Discord to your patreon account first before joining. Or you will likely not get your role.
To add your discord account..
ON THE WEBSITE(its different/nonexistent on the patreon mobile app):
-Go to settings
-scroll over to connected apps
-scroll down you should see discord.
