Behind the Scenes - Secret Vault [Platinum + VIP]

Hey Platinum supporters!

So... I may have gone down a rabbit hole. Never talked about it because it always felt pretty crazy and far-fetched.

So I was working on scenes and thought "wouldn't THAT be cool?"

So... I had to spend some time on that.

What is it?

I have attached a 30-second sample from the bikini top swap scene (Ari and Ayumi). Dialogue + BGM sound.

It's very experimental. It might not work. But I want to know what you think.

I love the general JP VN aesthetic that inspired this game, and English voices didn't quite fit the vibe - I tried. Japanese VA feels more authentic to the tone I'm chasing.

That said...

This is very early stage. This is absolutely not happening for 0.6.0. Maybe down the line for a special release, maybe a Steam version, or maybe if people think there's a lot of potential here.

Voice work is complex and time-consuming. This sample is rough, not polished.

But if it works, it could make the game more special.

Right now it's just an experiment.

Questions for you

• Does Japanese voice work for an English VN set in a fictional Western-inspired city?• Does this make the game better or does it feel out of place?• Do the voices sound like what you would expect?

Curious what you think. Is this cool, or just a weird idea?
