Well... this is a bit of an unfortunate update 😭
Google Drive has restricted my account from sharing files until July 9, 2026 due to a Spam Policy violation 😭
What makes this even more confusing is that Google tells me I can request a review, but when I try to do so, it says there are no violations available to appeal 💀
So for now, I'm assuming the restriction will remain until the stated date.
Because of this, I’ll likely start moving away from relying entirely on Google Drive and begin looking for alternative storage solutions.
⚠️ The process will probably take a while.
I need to:• choose a new platform• test download and sharing systems• upload a huge amount of artwork again, folder by folder 😵💫
Honestly, looking back now, paying for Google Drive storage all this time feels a little painful when something like this can happen 😭💸
Another issue is website purchases.
If someone buys a product from my website while Google Drive links are unavailable, I still need a way to deliver the content properly.
Because of that, I’m considering creating a direct contact or chat system on the website so buyers can quickly reach me. That way I can verify purchases, provide replacement links, and manually deliver products when necessary.
Looks like my "simple website project" is slowly turning into a much larger project than I originally expected 😅
For now, I'll continue looking into backup storage options and figuring out the best solution moving forward.
