About this piece: I can’t remember ever spending so much time and effort on something so short. At every turn this one went wrong: corrupt files, animation issues, and the whole thing was nearly lost in editing. In short, this one nearly killed me. But I’m still here, and somehow it’s actually finished 🎉

Update: I had some feedback recently about the last piece, Hot Afternoon Swim, which made me realize a few things. One is that the pool shorts are too similar. Another is (shocker to anyone who’s followed me for a long time 😂) I’m trying to do too much… again. Often I’m not happy with the short pieces, so I'll add scenes and basic plots. This doesn’t actually make them any better; it just delays the longer projects—which is why we’ve only had a few this year. It’s time to change that.

I’m going to stop adding things to the shorts. Instead we'll have more, as a longtime fan suggested, “kinky underwater fun!” More exotic locations, more unique scenarios, less length, and less fluff. I've said before the focus should be quality over quantity, so I’ll listen to myself and stop trying to hit the 10-day mark for updates. I never make it anyway, and all that does is make me feel anxious. We’ll still often have more than 2 updates per month, as I’d like to do more super shorts (like “Lauren’s Week” from last year) and also more audio commentary editions of the animations. But the main goal is one high-quality update every two weeks and much, much more effort on the long pieces.

The next short update will be in two weeks (my first flooded shower animation), and the next long one two weeks after that—plus a goody or two in between as well 💦
