Gotta say, I still like this design, even if it looks nothing like Yooka... It's basically just the colour scheme, and nothing else.
Yooka did show up in the orgy scene, that's right! He was nowhere as buff as he is now (since this was essentially a ref for what he would look like as an actual fighting game character)... I like that he basically uses his tail, geared up with spikes, as his main weapon. He's some sort of water ninja!
I simplified his outfit a lot in the final version of part 3. I guess it would've been a bit weird to have BUFF YOOKA as a background character, but at least he was still ninja-adjacent. Ninjadjacent.
But it looks good! I remember being super proud of how it came out, and I still struggle to get drawings to look this good nowadays.
AND sorry to be a party pooper, but I don't have refs for the other characters that showed up in part 3. I didn't even plan for them to show up in the first place!
