Happy Friday Party Members!
Phew well I'm really happy with how this one turned out. Especially because it was a last second change of plans!
I went through a couple of ideas yesterday but nothing was really sticking. I had 2 "almost good" tracks but I had lost steam on them pretty quickly, and was trying to figure out which one I wanted to stick with for today's post.
For whatever reason I just opened up a new project and almost immediately found the sound that opens up the beginning of this song. And just like that, the ideas came flooding in. Love it when that happens.
It's pretty somber and slow paced, but it still feel interesting with different ideas flowing in and out of focus. Could work really well for a snowy forest dungeon, an icy mountain climb, or just a downtrodden mountain village that's seen better days.
