My heart exploded with joy as the turquoise water smiled at me. This was my second day waking up in the Bali paradise. A pink plumeria flower floated my way and I jumped in the pool, grabbed my paints, and spent the first hours of the day beneath a blue sky, soaking in the magic. This is what I'd been envisioning for so long; to begin my day outside, warm and playing. I hope this extra video footage brings you joy, a memory of where this journey started a couple months ago, and deepens your understanding of the artwork I'm creating. If you look closely at my artwork, it now includes the hashtag shapes, scratches vertical and horizontal. I picked up this technique on this morning at the Canggu pool. It's stuck with me now and it keep appearing in my paintings. It's simple and I love it. It almost feels like a graphic signature now.
