DESCRIPTION

Stephen King: Submitted for the approval of the midnight society, i call this the tale of the heroic cat King: it's about a cat who saves a little girl from an evil troll King: and also two other completely unrelated stories

Poe: a heroic cat? well, that's very interesting Poe: i'm already invested Junji Ito: nyah!!! =^___^= Lovecraft: me too! i love cats! King: yeah i thought you guys would like this Lovecraft: you know- King: i don't need any follow up on the subject of cats from you, howard Lovecraft:

Lovecraft: i was only going to say King: yeah that's great, moving on Poe: what kind of cat is it? Ito: nyah! =^________^= King: oh, it's a Lovecraft: is it a King: IT'S A TABBY

King: this heroic tabby has a psychic bond with this girl who calls upon it for help Cordwainer Smith: yes, yes, of course Smith: and of course when you're talking about a psychic cat Smith: you mean a psychic cat girl right? King: what Smith: you know a cat girl Ito: he means a nekomimi King: what

King: anyway this girl is under attack from this tiny little troll King: it's actually kind of adorable to be honest King: i mean, if it wasn't evil and trying to steal your child's breath King: you would think it was kind of cute King: it's kind of like the noid

King: and there's this climactic battle between troll and cat Lovecraft: oooh i hope the cat wins! Ito: i'll just die if the cat doesn't win Smith: please say the cat is okay Poe: guys guys of course the cat is ok Poe: steve wouldn't do that to us Poe: right steve? King: King: right right of course

Smith: i would never read a book where a cat is hurt Smith: i love cats so much in fact that sometimes i find a book where a cat isn't hurt and i just imagine what if the opposite happened and then i get mad and leave bad reviews for the version of that book i made up in my head Bitter Karella: :|

King: there's something else about this troll King: it's constantly mumbling adorable gibberish Barker: is it voiced by frank welker King: who else?

Poe: what about these other stories you mentioned? King: well one is about a guy trying to quit smoking King: which is really tough because it's the 80s King: so he goes to a clinic that helps you quit smoking King: because it's the 80s

King: at one point the cat almost gets run over by a classic 1958 Plymouth fury Poe: like christine? King: exactly! King: good eye! King: in case it wasn't obvious tho, this car has a bumper sticker that says "I AM THE EVIL CAR KNOWN AS CHRISTINE" Barker: i like the subtlety

Poe: you ok, dean. you've been awful quiet today Koontz: what? oh Koontz: nothing, it's fine Koontz: it's just that stories about cats are boring Koontz: i like stories about dogs! Poe: ah yes Koontz: I love dogs!! :D
