Edit: I've had a few people state that my careers are broken, but they are working with the latest version of Core Library. Scarlet has a note on her page, stating that the issue was hotfixed by Lot51:
I do plan on changing my tuning instances to 32 bit, but it's an absolutely mammoth task, as I have 1000's of files that reference the affected resources, and it would mean total chaos. For now, I'm holding fire. IF you're having issues, and you have Royalty & Legacy, it's because you either have a conflict somewhere, like an old version of Core Library, or perhaps a duplicate. To troubleshoot, try the following:1. Remove ALL mods except:
Latest version of the mod in question (Academic Life, a career etc.)
Latest Core Library
Latest ModLibrary
Delete localthumbcache (C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4)
Load game
Add career to your Sim
Save & Exit (You can roll back to an earlier save if you're playing with a lot of mods, or Save As...)
Reload
If it sticks, there is a conflict and/or a duplicated/outdated version of Core Library. If it drops, consider me mystified! (But send me a screenshot of your mods folder, and let me know if your game is up to date. Also send me the save you're playing with on Discord or here).Hey all,
The latest Sims 4 patch was released on Thursday, and all my mods are compatible.
If you have the new Royalty & Legacy DLC, and you’re experiencing LE’s when using a SimPicker (i.e. to travel), you need to grab the latest version of Lot 51’s Core Library.
