Just wanting to get some information from you all regarding how you find out that I've posted a video over here on Patreon, and how you then make your way to watch the video.
Basically, I haven't used Streamable or Dropbox in a while now, as Patreon's new video player features are far more reliable, and so I'm looking to reupload a lot of content. These two video hosting sites cost a lot to keep maintained monthly, and this would cut my operational costs significantly by getting rid of them and making Patreon my primary video hosting service!
I've found out recently that I can re-upload a lot of these videos without the system sending out e-mail / in-app notifications (thankfully!), but I wanted to see what the main method of notification is for you all, just in case I might be missing something.
Long story short, I just don't want to have Patreon sending a barrage of e-mails, so I figured I'd covertly upload these videos in the background with no notifs whatsoever. I'm not sure if people scroll my feed like that, but I'd love to know just so I can minimise disruption as much as possible ❤️
So the question is:
Once I've posted a video over here, how do you primarily find out, and make your way to watching the video? Is it through e-mail, in-app notifs, scrolling the feed, or something else?
