everyone has just filtered out of the house. it's back to being just you and me. i literally wasn't expecting a surprise today. when you sent me out to get batteries i expected to return to just you. instead i came home to a full house, everyone i know hiding behind furniture in a bid to terrify me. i really didn't think i would do anything major for my birthday. it was a very lovely surprise, sweetheart. it's so cute you planned all this with my friends. you turn on a random playlist i have on spotify before pulling me down onto the couch to relax before the cleanup. this is going to be a birthday i remember for a long long time.
