it's a little after midnight and surprisingly we are both asleep. you're collapsed on my chest with my arms wrapped around you tight. your head slowly rising and falling with each one of my inhales and exhales. there's nothing better than sleeping right beside you. waking up, seeing your face, giving you a soft kiss before going right back to sleep. nights like tonight i really do sleep soundly.
