you've been gone for the past week for work. it's been terrible having you away. it's like going back to long distance all over again. we talk when we can but the time difference has been brutal. it's two am when i hear the phone ring and i know it's you so half asleep i immediately answer. the second i hear your voice the longing is all i feel. i missed your voice, your presence, you. i just can't wait for you to be back home. i might just have to come out there and visit because a month away is such a long time.
