The wait is finally over. Two weeks ago, I went back into the "dev-cave" to make sure this transition was as polished as possible, and today, I can finally open the gates to the new and improved Lost Lagoon!

⭐ What you can expect from this update:

As promised, the AI era is officially over. Every single AI asset has been removed.

Animated Scenes: No more static renders. Experience the island with fully animated scenes and custom sound design for a truly immersive experience.

Unique Identities: I’ve overhauled the dialogues and styles of every girl. I'm still working on my writing and character development skills, but I tried to give each girl her own individual style and personality for this update.

⚙️ New Mechanics & Gameplay:

The Lust Gauge: A new way to track your progress and tension with the bachelorettes.

Gifting & Compliments: You can now actively woo the girls with items they love or a well-timed compliment to improve your relationship!

Activity Spots & Job-Board: Keep an eye out for interactable spots on the map that trigger extra character scenes and flavor text.

Combat Overhaul: A batch of new weapons, armor, and gear has been added to the database to make combat more engaging.

🏝️ Content & World Building

Chapter 1 & 2 are Complete: This includes the first two Love Events for every main character.

More Playtime: A standard playthrough (no speedrunning!) should now take roughly 5–6 hours.

New Locations: Explore the Public Restroom, the Farm Barn, and get a sneak peek at the Monstergirl Resort (WIP), featuring the beginnings of our village-building mechanic.

Patreon Exclusive: The expanded premium area is ready for my Tier-3 and Top-Tier supporters!

💾 IMPORTANT: Save File Info

Because of the massive changes to the game's engine and assets, old save files from previous AI-versions are NOT compatible. You will need to start a fresh journey to experience the new Lost Lagoon correctly.

The Good News: Any progress you make in this Early Access build will be compatible with the upcoming public release! I'll also add premade save files for upcoming EARLY ACCESS releases.

👑 Membership Update: New Tier Structure

To better support the game’s new quality standard and monthly release schedule, I’ve refined what each Tier offers:

Tier 2 (Early Access & Art): Members here get access to the fresh developer builds every single month AND the new weekly pin-ups (more about that in another post)! To keep the story experience polished, Public Versions will now only be updated once a full Chapter is 100% complete. If you want to see the island grow in real-time and see the latest scenes, Tier 2 is for you.

Tier 3 (Premium Bonus Content): Includes everything from Tier 2, plus the "Ultimate Experience." You'll receive a code that unlocks all the good stuff you can find in the Secret Office: Cheat Items, Recollection Room, Bunny, Patreon-only sidequests (WIP), and more!
