I've seen a few new names in the ole notifications lately and I wanted to post a welcome message for all of you. If you're anything like me, you feel a little bit like a deer in headlights when someone calls you out for joining or simply existing in a space, and I wanna avoid that as much as possible because fuck I hate being awkward.
But I also want you to know that I see you, and I wanna thank you for being here. You looked in your wallet and you actively decided you had a few bucks to spare for my work and that means so fucking much. Especially now when shit all over is uncertain and even small expenditures feel kinda insurmountable sometimes.
I just think you're neat.
So does Beanie. He doesn't know it, but he sure is appreciative every morning I open up his food bucket and I have something to give him.
