Before leaving Rome, we stopped at Castroni—a souvenir shop that sells AMEDEI chocolate (so pricey back in Taipei!). Yi-Yuan chose the No. 9, while I grabbed a 70% Tuscan dark bar.

Rome is a mix of the ancient, calm, and serene. In the chilly April air, leather jackets and slow steps on cobblestones set the scene. We were just passing travelers, but their lives went on.
That morning, watching Yi-Yuan still asleep, I felt grateful—to share this city with him. ❤️
