DESCRIPTION

Good Afternoon Patrons,

Today appears to be largely an extreme wind and large hail event. There might be a window for some mesocyclonic tornadoes the first hour or two storms go up before congealing into a QLCS / squall line… and of course there always seems to be a mesoscale accident. By that we mean storms interacting with each other in a chaotic way and providing the juice for a tornado. Guidance is suggesting a likely derecho will surge through the Red River Valley toward Dallas bringing extreme winds.

YESTERDAY was an unexpected treat in New Mexico in what many are calling the best structure in years. Perhaps, perhaps not. Regardless, nobody was expecting this.

Good luck today messy hairdo chasers.
