It is done!
And wow, what a fever dream these last few weeks have been. From the start of this picture to the finish, I somehow managed to end up in the emergency room twice.
First, Chibi-Evee’s condition took a turn for the worse. Luckily, I was able to bring her home again the next day. Next Friday is her next surgery appointment, so fingers crossed that her health should finally start turning for the better.. Please send some positive energy her way if you can!
Then my dad got sick too, and once again I was lucky enough to bring him home a day later. He is recovering now. It wasn’t the flu, it wasn’t Covid, and it wasn’t pneumonia, so hey, at least the ER was very good at telling us what he doesn’t have. The plan now is bed rest, something for the fever, and drinking a lot.Of course, my dad is also at that age where “you really need to hydrate” is treated more like a vague suggestion.
So yeah. Long story short: it was a wild week.
As for the picture itself, I have to say, I’m usually not the biggest fan of making brown look shiny. First try was not good...but in the end, I think it came out pretty SHINNY!
