So, in the previous progress update, I said the demo would be ready this week. Spoiler alert, it won't.
Two-faceted issue.
I overdid the number of renders for the reworked Party scene. It's not 130 renders. It will probably be closer to 230.
Underestimated the amount of time things will take. Rewriting, testing, and looking for music. I mean, the music part is very slow. But for me, music is very important.
So, everything's going as usual. Nothing new here. :D
Anyway. I'm hopeful that next week I'll be done. Another thing is, I'm remaking several renders in some scenes. But I go in chronological order. I edit one scene, rewrite things, notice something problematic, then I make the renders. The total number of remade and new renders is likely to be over 300 or even closer to 400. Not done with editing just yet, so we'll see.
Anyway, the story will stay the same, but I want to improve the delivery method (improve dialogue, remove filler renders and text, add renders where the story needs it), and this is part of a larger plan to go over the rest of the episode and make it 'better'. I'm not the same creator I was when I first started. I've learned a lot and have new insights. But I'll do that in parallel to the creation of the new episodes. After all, editing the work is what every self-respecting writer should do.
I'll say that this edited/reworked Episode 1 is definitely worth a replay. to see all the changes, the updated dialogues and the lewd scene. I'm going to try to set it as a new standard going forward (Both in reworking old episodes and new content).
