The rain was pouring hard that night. Elias Crowe hurried across the street, hood pulled low, his mind still stuck on the unfinished character design waiting on his computer. He never saw the truck coming. Headlights suddenly flooded his vision. Tires screeched. For a split second, he turned his head. Then came the devastating impact. Bones shattered. The world spun violently. Pain exploded through his body for one terrible moment… and then everything went silent.   Darkness.   In that empty void, a calm, genderless voice echoed around him.   "What a pitiful end. You tried your best with the hand life dealt you… but it wasn’t enough. Very well. I’ll give you one more chance in the same world. A gift — the power to adapt and transform yourself according to your thoughts and desires. How you use it is up to you."   No further explanation. No rules. Just those cryptic words fading into nothingness.

Elias Crowe woke up with a violent gasp, bolting upright in his bed. His hands flew to his chest as he frantically patted himself down. He was breathing. His heart was pounding. He was… alive? He was back in his small, messy apartment. The same cracked ceiling stared down at him. Rain still pattered against the window. Everything looked exactly as it had last night. “No… that’s impossible,” he whispered, voice hoarse. “I died. I clearly died.” A strange, warm energy pulsed quietly inside his chest — waiting, listening. He stumbled out of bed and made his way to the bathroom on shaky legs. The fluorescent light buzzed to life, and he stared into the mirror. Same messy dark brown hair. Same tired hazel eyes. Same worn-down face. A wave of crushing disappointment hit him. It was just a dream after all. He leaned on the sink, shoulders slumped. He’d always hated how old and exhausted he looked. The lines around his eyes. The dull skin. The permanent fatigue. I wish those lines were gone. I wish I didn’t look so damn tired all the time. The moment the thought became clear, warmth bloomed in his chest and rushed to his face. A tingling sensation spread across his skin. Elias wasn't paying attention, too lost in the memory of screeching tires to notice the subtle changes. When he straightened up, he barely glanced at his reflection, still trying to convince himself that the accident had just been a nightmare. He splashed cold water on his face, feeling refreshed but not questioning why. He needed to clear his head. A run. Yes, a run would help.He changed into his jogging clothes, pulling on a faded band t-shirt and athletic shorts. The familiar routine of tying his running shoes was a comfort. He grabbed his keys and headed out the door, stepping into the cool morning air after the storm. The world smelled of wet pavement and damp earth. As he began to stretch, he felt an unfamiliar spring in his limbs. Must be the adrenaline from the nightmare, he thought, dismissing it. He started down his usual route, setting an easy pace. A few blocks in, a woman jogged past him coming from the opposite direction. She was in her late twenties, with a sleek blonde ponytail swishing in perfect rhythm with her stride. Her form was flawless. He couldn't help but notice. His eyes followed her as she passed. A thought, unbidden and crude, flickered through his mind: Damn. Nice ass. Too bad she's completely flat-chested.The instant the fully formed thought settled in his consciousness, a strange feeling washed over him. A deep, resonant hum seemed to vibrate through his entire being, originating from that warm spot in his chest. His own body suddenly felt… off. Wrong. There was a pulling sensation across his chest and hips, a peculiar reshaping that was both dizzying and deeply unsettling. He stumbled, barely catching himself on a parked car. His legs felt weaker, his center of balance shifted. He looked down at himself, confused. His jogger's shorts, usually a comfortable fit, were now digging uncomfortably into his hips, which felt suddenly, strangely wider. His t-shirt was loose in some places and tight in others, pulling across a peculiar, unfamiliar sensitivity on his chest. And with every stride he took, there was an undeniable, embarrassing bounce behind him that had never been there before. He ignored it. He had to. Panic threatened to rise, hot and bile-bitter in the throat. This isn't happening. It's just a weird side effect of the nightmare. Maybe I pulled something. He pushed harder, trying to outrun the strange sensations, but the bounce only became more pronounced. His whole gait felt altered. Each footfall sent a shudder through a lower body that no longer felt entirely his. The muscles in his thighs felt softer, moving differently against the fabric of his shorts. His running shoes, usually a secure fit, now felt like they were sliding on his narrower feet. That's when a woman rounded the corner ahead of him.She was walking, not jogging, and her face was round and cheerful, framed by short, choppy pink hair. A bright, infectious smile was on her lips, but it was impossible to miss her other features. Her breasts were enormous, straining the fabric of a bright yellow sundress. She was heavyset, carrying her weight with a confident, rolling gait that seemed completely at ease with itself.Elias’s brain, in its current state of disoriented shock, latched onto the most prominent details. The cute, smiling face. The impossible scale of her chest. The vibrant pink hair. The thought wasn't even conscious, more of a panicked, jumbled impression of HER. LIKE HER.The hum in his chest returned, louder this time, a deep, thrumming vibration that felt like it was rewriting his DNA on the spot. The pulling sensation in his face was immediate, a stretching of skin, a reshaping of bone that made him gasp. His jawline softened, his cheeks plumped out, and he could feel the very texture of his hair shifting, growing longer, lighter. A lock of it, now the color of bubblegum, fell across his vision.Simultaneously, a truly alarming weight bloomed on his own chest. It wasn't just the bounce from before; it was a massive, sudden deployment of flesh and fat, pulling him forward with its sheer mass. His already-strained t-shirt was now stretched to its absolute limit, the thin fabric clinging desperately to two new, foreign mounds. He stumbled again, this time nearly falling as his balance was completely thrown off by the twin pendulums now anchored to his front.
