Have your Track featured in the Game Progression
DESCRIPTION

Here is your chance not just to influence the game design but actually have your work be featured in the main progression!

Reading all your comments and looking at what we can do within our current limitations, it's likely that we will unlock the Weld via a Licence Point threshold. We won't go as far as forcing you to be at 100% completion, but it does feel right that unlocking it should reward a high level of event completion.

However, and this is where you come in, once unlocked there will be a number of additional Weld-specific progression races to compete in.

We will be accepting road based (no Sky tracks) point to point or lap based Race submissions from Paid Patreon members and we will include the five best routes as new Progression Races as part of this release.

How to submit:

Send the Share Code and Track Title of your race to [email protected] from the email address linked to your Patreon account.

We will confirm eligibility via this email address and the gamertag linked to your account. Entries must be in by end of day Sunday

Rules:

• Road-based Races only (no Sky Tracks or off-road events at this time).• Lap-based or Point-to-Point events - no Road Rages or Wreckonings.• Minimum event length 2 mins, Maximum event length 15 minutes.• Routes must work reliably with AI eg avoid very tight choke points or extreme corners that AI cars might struggle to navigate, similarly if using jumps or stunt-style routes please test carefully to ensure AI can complete them.• Limited Live Mix usage primarily for decoration – roughly 100–500 objects, not thousands - please use your judgement here as we don’t have the resources at the moment to add a Live Mix counter in game.• Events must be suitable for all ages (no profanity or inappropriate content)

Tips:

From the Map access 'Create Event' and choose either the 'Road Race (Point to Point)' or 'Road Race (Laps)' option

From 'Pick Where to Play' choose 'Custom Road Route' for the most flexible option - here you will select a Start Point and then place Checkpoints at regular points and at every intersection. The final checkpoint placed becomes the Finish.

Choose the weather/time of day/number of AI.

Do not add a 'Wreck Limit', 'Player Car restriction' and definitely do not 'Disable Remix' (this is how we will add them to the progression).

Once you have hit 'Create Challenge' you can add Live Mix objects if you wish. Then select 'Save Challenge' followed by 'Share Challenge'. This will generate a Share Code.

The important thing is to focus on creating a clear, readable route so players always know where they are going and don't get frustrated. Additional tips can be found in the Help section accessible via the Map.

To recap:

Create a Point-to-Point or Lap race

Save it and Share it

Email us the share code by end of day, Sunday March 15th.

Good luck!

As an extra incentive, the creators of the selected routes will receive early access to the Weld and will have the opportunity to test their races in the Weld before the car and events go live to all players.

If you’ve never created a track in Wreckreation, or in any game, this is your chance. It’s easier than you might think, and you could see your race featured in the game.
