Continuing the conversation I had with Dan in the chat here, I thought I'd share with you today this thing from 2012. This is one of the earliest things I made in an attempt to create something longer and a bit more structured. During that period of time, my intentions regarding music creation were evolving quite a bit, and it started to take a more prominent position in my life.
'A Place to Be Different' is one of the first results from that transition. I remember pretty vividly the creation of it, which was almost like a free fall into the depths of possibilities that I could suddenly see turning into goals in music. In an attempt to push the creation forward without getting stuck, I was just making one thing after another without much beyond that.
I think 2012 was a transition year for me in music creation, between the more raw things I made as a child and 'Escape to Antesia' in 2013. During that time, 'A Place to Be Different' is a milestone, alongside other things I might share in the future.
