Today I share with you a sketch from September 2022.2022 was not an easy year for me in terms of creative fulfillment. I was mainly working on things meant to help me learn and advance, and I put creative fulfillment on hold for a while.
This sketch remains, to this day, one of the most “free” things I’ve done. I was trying to work almost without any grid at all, technically but also mentally. To me it sounds almost desperate, as if you push something too hard until it becomes part of the wall.
Either way, I was exploring ideas that later became more organized. 2022 was mostly a year of that, and it was also when I made the first sketches and versions of what eventually became the “Sequenced Studies", while on of them was actually released in that year (From G#/Sequenced Study 2).
