Hello my MODDERS, MODIFIERS and MODULATORS!!
I hope everyone had a good week! And now it's time for the first status update for MODIFICATION APP 0.9.0 - Goth!!
This past week, ever since the vote, I spent brainstorming, planning and have already begun making the new MODIFICATION artwork.So let's go over it!!
What even is a goth?
So first off I should explain what my idea of "goth" is, since there were a lot of differing types of goths suggested in the comments.
For this path, I wanted what I think is a classic goth, where the idea is Mia will start dressing in the dark tight clothes (with some expansions to go with it), get darker hair, makeup, and will begin have more emotionless demeanor.The best example I could come up with, personality-wise, is something like the tone of Raven from the original TT, with that dry "whatever nerd" type personality.
And the idea is, because of her being more indifferent/less expressive during scenes she'll be acting a bit more "dom".That is... Unless the MC can break her poker face~~
What's gonna be in it?
This path will branch out from MC-3, and is planned to consist of
A new minigame
3 MODIFICATION stages
2 Sexy events
1 LONG event (that will contain 1 small sexy event, and one of the two sexy events)
Add Mall location to map (related to the Long event)
Now you might be wondering, only 3 MODIFICATION stages?
As I mentioned when adding the Growth path, almost all of them being 4 stages is something that has just happened, but it has never been a rule I placed on myself when planning it out.That being said, when planning Goth, it was also originally going to be 4 stages.
However, after going back and forth and doing a bunch of sketches, I realized I could merge goth-2 and 3 into a single much bigger multi-step event that I think will be a lot more interesting (and different) from previous paths, and it would also allow me to make part of that event take place outside the house!!

If you are a MODIFIER or MODULATOR, I hope to release some WIPs of the new modification sprites by the end of the week - and gotta say, the goth outfit is probably my favorite one I've done so far, just from how different it looks from all the previous paths.
In the meantime, I'll go back to the dungeon and dust out the old ouija bord for a relaxing night.
