Tove and I are fighting. I've rewritten her Day Three twice, and I am now on a third rewrite, and nothing is working like I want it to. This was the scene I was most excited for in this chapter, and now I'm at wits' end. This girl's gonna be the death of me.
So I will switch gears to Ezra's scene and work through that first (or until inspiration connects and I can return to Tove's).
Deerbourne
SO EXCITED TO PREP THIS FOR ITS PUBLIC RELEASE IN OCTOBER!!! I've been missing my Deerbourne kids while fighting with Tove lolol.
In personal news, C and I took a week break from all things serious in the world (which is almost impossible for us, since we're keyed into politics in a way that's probably unhealthy for folks not actively involved in politics) to celebrate our upcoming 15th (!!!) anniversary.
We went up to Niagara and enjoyed the falls and the park for a few days, and then lazed and lounged. I did 0 laundry and we definitely ate too many carbs. Oops. Anyhoo, hope you're all doing well. New York is finally cooling off a little bit, though probably not for long. I swear there are only two seasons here - hell (winter edition) and hell (summer edition). 😮💨
