The arena lights dimmed and the man ring overheads flared brightly...
"Hey there fight fans! I'm Danny Sanchez, and with me as always is Former Middle Weight WKA Champion Lily 'Danger' Daily! And we're coming to you live from Anaheim California for this weeks Friday Night fight series!" Dressed in his suit, hands clasped slightly under the table as the man in his early 30s addressed the camera.
"That's right Danny! And we have an amazing series of men's bouts tonight! But we're very excited to begin with a special ladies exhibition event! Pitting Tang Soo Do against Kickboxing in a clash of the titans!" Lily sat up a bit more in her chair.
"Absolutely Champ! This wasn't billed for the evening and apparently the ink is barely dry on the contracts! Our two competitors had been back and forth on the match parameters and the lawyers finally agreed on everything this morning! And organizers were eager to set them up as the surprise opening bout tonight!" Dan shuffled his papers, the crowd rumbling and shifting about as the set crewmen finished clearing things from around the edge of the ring.
"I actually walked by the boss' office just as the competitors and their legal teams were coming out. This was VERT irregular as normally fighters would train for months! Watching recap videos of previous fights. Doing press events... But, apparently there's a bit of bad blood in the air. And, after some rather nasty conference calls, the two fighters were very eager to get at it!" Lily's voice pitched up a bit with excitement. Her eyes flicking to the side entranceway into the arena.
"And it looks like we're ready to start folks!"
