DESCRIPTION

October 1st, 2018 — I weighed 126.6 kg (280 lbs). Clothes from regular stores didn’t fit me anymore, my body was struggling under the weight, and I couldn’t sit comfortably in the university chairs. So I decided to start going to the gym. I really put in the effort and got back down to 120 kg (265 lbs) — but as soon as I stopped going, the weight came back without any effort at all.

That’s when I realized: being fat is part of who I am. And honestly, I liked how it felt to gain that weight so quickly. I liked being bigger. Reaching 130 kg (287 lbs) started to feel like a personal goal, a milestone I wanted to hit.

Then life happened — the pandemic, stress, all of it — and before I knew it, I wasn’t even sure how it all unfolded. This year, I hit a new milestone: 400 lbs. And even though I never gave up on the idea of gaining, I still don’t quite understand how it’s possible to get this big and not feel fat. When I look in the mirror, I still see someone who weighs 280 lbs.

Now, as October 1st approaches — almost 7 years later — I find myself wondering:

How much do I weigh now?
