“ARTEMIS!!” Aphrodite yelled. The Goddess of Love looked like the Goddess of Rage, though better looking of course, as she stormed into the throne room, looking for the Goddess of the Hunt.
“Yes?” Artemis replied, as she looked up from polishing her bow.
“You turned one of my son’s into a jackalope.” Aphrodite screeched.
“Did I?” Artemis replied drolly.
“Yes. You miserable bitch. You did. Why?” Aphrodite seethed.
“Well I am quite fond of jackalopes.” Artemis casually replied, as she checked the bow for any imperfections. The gods and goddess in the room that heard this just rolled their eyes. They all knew the Moon Goddess was quick to turn any male that annoyed her into a woodland creature.
“Turn him back!” Aphrodite argued.
“No. Even if I did know which of your many sons it was, I wouldn’t. I only leave the jackalopes to males who deliberately try to spy on my Hunters. Which means your son, like all the rest of them, have no respect for women and certainly no class. Not that you can do anything about it either of course.
Aphrodite’s eye started to twitch, she was about to say something in response but was unable to due to the blast of thunder that was Zeus making his arrival.
“Now that everyone is here let us begin the Summer Solstice of ‘98.” Zeus proclaimed. Aphrodite seeing that the meeting was started stalked to her throne which just happened to be near Artemis and silently seethed and glared at her, completely ignoring the meeting.
Not that anything important was happening anyways. Zeus got into another light argument with Poseidon about sea/sky disasters. Ares was reading a gun magazine. Her husband, Hepheastus, was tinkering with some new toy.
“Brother. . . I hate to end this debate, but could we wrap this up early today?” A voice from below said, interrupting the Love Goddess from her thoughts of revenge.
Looking down Aphrodite saw Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth and Home, wearing the uglies of brown dresses Aphrodite had seen, but still pulling it off, interrupting Zeus.
“Sister?” Zeus questioned.
“Myself, Artemis, and Athena, have prior arrangements in Britain today, and I would like to see us there on time.” Hestia spoke.
Zeus puzzled at this news, tilted his head, “Britain? I thought we were done over there?”
“We are. But the Wixen Children of Hecate, just finished a war and today being the Day of the Light, the Children will be celebrating. We, the Three Maidens, have been called to watch over the Festivities. Much like we did when the last war was over. Or have you forgotten?”
Zeus hearing this, coughed, he had forgotten, “Yes I see. Very well unless there is some other pressing matter. This meeting is adjourned.”
Hearing this all the gods and goddesses disappeared. All except Aphrodite. She was scheming. She was still mad about her son, and Artemis blowing her off like it was nothing. No that wasn’t really the cause. She was annoyed that the Goddess of the Hunt, dared to disrespect her Domain. Sure this happened regularly, but this time, this time was the last straw.
Artemis was about to be remind of how Love could be so cruel. It was time for the Three Maiden Goddesses, to be only Two. Ancient Laws be damned.
Standing up from her throne, Aphrodite popped into her temple and gathered the necessary ingredients: Love Potion, Fertility Draught, and Dionysus’ Special Blend. She then mixed it all into a special cocktail with a cruel smile on her face. After a couple of seconds, it glowed an interesting shade of pink.
Aphrodite then popped to merry ole England. Looking for some miserable mortal that was in need of a good fuck, rather shag, as they like to call it. Putting out her feelers, Aphrodite felt a particular pull to the North. It was a strange pull, one she had felt many years ago. Though she couldn’t remember where it was from.
Soon she arrived at a young man sitting under a tall oak overlooking a lake. The young man was tall, had dark, messy hair, and eyes that glowed like emeralds. He checked all her boxes, not to mention he was even brooding. It was perfect. Her domain over the Heart told her the man was suffering from a broken heart and that was something she couldn’t let happen.
Aphrodite, invisible to the man, reached down and plucked out a single strand of hair and added it to her Special Concoction, which flashed and glowed gold. Seeing this, Aphrodite smiled. It was ready.
She looked down and saw that the man had stood up, and was shocked to see the man was looking around. A sense of foreboding hit her, but that feeling had disappeared as he shook his head and started to jog to the small town down the road where she could see a bright red train pulling in.
Strange.
‘Now where is Artemis?’ Aphrodite thought to herself. The Love Goddess then stretched out her senses and felt for her. But, was puzzled. She wasn’t anywhere in England. Aphrodite couldn’t understand. So she tried again. Still nothing. She then did the same for both Hestia and Athena, knowing the two goddesses would be with the Huntress. Again nothing.
This was strange. They did say they would be in England. Maybe they were hiding their presence to not disrupt the event they were needed for. Well not wanting to deviate from the plan, Aphrodite put a spell on the potion to appear in the next drink that Artemis had. It would then compel her to seek out the young man.

A few hours later, Harry Potter was sitting at a Muggle Pub, enjoying a pint. Well trying to. He was currently recovering from officially breaking it off with Ginny. Is this what he really wanted? No. But it was for the best. He needed time to process the fact that the Blood War was finally over.
As he polished off pint after pint, the world slowly started to make less and less sense. At some point he found himself talking with three beautiful women. He would later swear the three were veela but more. But it didn’t matter.
They talked and talked. It was a wonderful experience, Harry felt all the problems he had melting away. But at the same time, he had this feeling something wasn’t right and with each passing drink the strange feeling slowly disappeared.
He felt like he remembered the sound of tearing clothes and other wonderful things, but when he woke up it was all gone. He found himself, laying in the bed of a hotel. Figuring he must have checked himself in, Harry apparated away. The day becoming a distant memory.
AN: Hey everyone Thoth here. Still struggling to get a working title I am satisfied with, but I figured I could post the prologue. Hope you don't mind. I've been busy with work lately and haven't gotten a chance to proof read my next chapters the Pledge and the Crafter. I have a day off this week, I think and will post them then. Thanks again for all the support.
